إلا أنه مما يُحمد للمؤلف رحمه الله أنه تراجع عن بعض المآخذ على الكتاب وعدلها في الطبعة الجديدة منه والتي طُبعت بعد الفوز بالجائزة، وعلى هذا فليُنتبه إلى أن طبعات الكتاب التي تتم بإذن المُؤلف أفضل وأدق من الطبعات التي تتم بإذن رابطة العالم الإسلامي بمكة لأن الأخيرة تعتمد على النسخة التي فازت بالجائزة قبل تعديل المؤلف لما فيها من مآخذ
